Yep, updating again today. I just felt like adding Winamp support, so it's been added. There are some caveats to this though. I basically use the same technique that everyone (I'm assuming) else uses to try and get the Winamp information. Unfortunately that means no Album name data. I know it sucks but really you should upgrade your media player anyway, Winamp is so 1990's.

This is a pretty cool concept, but I can't get the plugin to work on my XP/SP2 machine.
I have installed the swissarmy itunes plugin, which I can see ticked in my Itunes plugins dialog.
I have the .net 2.0 redistributable installed.
Any ideas at all - I'd love to be able to use this plugin.

Very cool - thanks for this.
Any chance of getting another option added to the options of the plugin? I'd really like it if it didn't insert any hyperlinks in the currently playing text...
Great work otherwise!

Not working with the new release of Windows Live Writer 1.0 beta, Sept. 28th, 2006. Plugin shows up in options, but not the sidebar. I have WMP 11 beta, and Winamp 5.3 if that is any help.

I had all kinds of trouble gettign it to work, starting with the iTunes plugins, which Apple's documentation mistakenly show as having to go in My Music/iTunes/Plug-ins - they have to go in Program Files/iTunes/Plug-ins. Then my own stupidity - I didn't modify the inserting style, so I kept getting "Nothing playing" when I clicked the sidebar button.
I know that was my own foolishness, but maybe you could default the message to "%a% - %t% (modify me in options)" or something so it's apparent when it's working.
Thanks for the plug-in!
